This site earns commission on purchases made through its buttons. That is the whole arrangement, and this page exists so nobody has to guess at it.

How it works

Each button carries a tracking parameter. If you buy after following one, the store pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price either way: the commission comes out of the retailer margin, not out of your total.

What it does not change

Ratings are printed as they stand, including the ones below four. Bundles that go out of season come off the site, which earns nothing at all. And the two facts on this site most likely to cost us a sale, that the evidence for the health claims in this category is thin and that two of our three plants are listed as toxic to cats, are both printed on the front page.

What it does affect is that this site exists. The photography, the counting and the writing are paid for this way.
